Georgia - July 2016

The paradise of the Caucasus

Georgia is an astonishing little country, bordered to the north and south by the Caucasian chains, it resembles a somewhat tropical Switzerland that would be bathed by the Black Sea. Everything grows in quantity and the food is excellent and generous. Georgian wine is also worth a visit. For the trekker, the magnificent high summits of the Caucasus and the meadows filled with flowers make sumptuous landscapes. A paradise, I tell you! I highly recommend the Svaneti, a region full of charm. This comment is not from a tourist office flyer:  go there and you'll see.
